2 Corinthians 9:9-12
It is written, He hath dispersed abroad; He hath given to the poor: His righteousness remains forever….now He that ministers seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness….being enriched in everything to all bountifulness, which causes through us thanksgiving to God….for the administration of this service not only supplies the want of the Saints, but is abundant also by many thanksgivings unto God.
Let us pray. Heavenly Father, we rejoice today in knowing that you are God all by yourself. The earth?s is your and the fullness thereof. We bless your Holy name and give thanks for all your many blessings every day. Great is your faithfulness, morning by morning new mercies I see; all that I needed your hands have provided. Great is your faithfulness unto me.
Thank you for the living word that will stand forever. Let each of us be ministers to spread the good news and plant the seeds of the gospel wherever we go and reap the bountifulness of your blessings. Create in us a clean heart; renew a loyal spirit within us. Do not banish us from your presence, and don?t take your Holy Spirit from us. Restore to us the joy of your salvation, and make us willing to obey you.
During this seed, time and harvest season, keep us forever mindful that You along are to be worshipped, honored, and glorified for all the increase that come from seeds sown in Kingdom Building. Bless our efforts to spread the word and good news to this world; order our steps so that everything we do will be in decency and order.
Forgive us for all our sins we have committed by thought, word, or deed. We are truly sorry for our misdoing.
And when our journey to build your Kingdom on this world is over, we look forward to our everlasting home with you in heaven.
We ask all these things in the name of Jesus, our Savior.
